This decision to expand outside Malaysia helped MAMEE-Double Decker grow as an international brand. We are already well established within the Asia pacific region and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

We have managed to do so independently, as well as with the assistance of third-party partners. The MAMEE-Double Decker journey has its roots in Malaysia and was established in 1971. It has since flourished into one of the most recognized household brands not only in Malaysia, but internationally too. With over 10 different brands and 50 different products sold in Malaysia alone, we hope to make our products as accessible as possible for all Malaysian to enjoy the goodness of our products. For the convenience of Malaysia, our products are available from major hypermarket down to smaller grocery stores in the neighbourhood. We hope to make our products to be available everywher across Malaysia for the convenience of our consumers.
Our dedication to providing great products has not gone unnoticed in Malaysia as we have been awarded for being the Best Home-Grown Packaged Food Company by Frost and Sullivan Award for 2 years in a row (2013 and 2014), and we have also received a Bronze for Putra Brand Awards for the Foodstuff Category in 2014.
The archipelago of Indonesia comprises 13,466 beautiful islands, and is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations thanks to its wealth of culture and natural beauty. With its population of over 238 million sharing borders and cultural ties with Malaysia, the introduction and distribution of MAMEE-Double Decker products was inevitable.
MAMEE-Double Decker established itself in Indonesia in the late 1980s and has been working together with PT Pacific Food Indonesia for over 25 years now. We are distributed in over 70 major cities and towns in Indonesia and available in major grocery stores and hyper/supermarkets such as Hero, Indomarket, Alfamart, Lottemart, Carrefour, Ramayana and 7-Eleven. Smax and Mister Potato Crisps are very well recognised MAMEE-Double Decker products sold in Indonesia.
Considered as one of the most developed countries with fast growing economy in the South East Asia (SEA) region, Singapore is a country of choice for MAMEE-Double Decker to establish our business in. MAMEE-Double Decker has been in Singapore for over 20 years and our market share continues to grow strongly. Our products are conveniently located and available in all major grocery stores, hyper and supermarkets in the country; Cold Storage, Giant, 7-11, Fairprice, Shen Siong and Mustafa just to mention a few.
Products available in Singapore include Mister Potato, Double Decker, Corntoz, MAMEE Monster Ready-to-Eat Noodles and MAMEE instant noodles. In line with the Health Promotion Board (HPB) regulations, we have also launched the “Healthy School Choice”, a product version that is specially formulated for the Singaporean market which allows students to satisfy their carvings in a healthy manner as it is low in sodium yet filled with immense flavour.
Since establishing the business in the Australian market about 30 years ago, MAMEE-Double Decker has grown to become one of the leading brands in the country. The MAMEE Monster Ready-To-Eat noodles snack is a favourite snacks among the Australian and our MAMEE Monster is a well known icon in Australia. A variety of MAMEE-Double Decker products that are sold include MAMEE Express Noodles, MAMEE Noodles Snacks, MAMEE Rice Sticks, MAMEE Rice Crisps, MAMEE Premium noodles and Mister Potato Crisps, which can be found in major stores and supermarkets such as Woolworths, Coles and Aldi.
The products we produce for Australia are customized specifically for the market and have been recognized as one of the healthier snacks in Australia. We has also received awards and certifications for meeting the healthy school cafeteria criteria and the products are supplied to the school in Australia.
Tasty food that is rich in flavour has been a common description of Saudi Arabian food. As such, Saudi Arabia is the perfect destination for the MAMEE-Double Decker brands to penetrate into. MAMEE-Double Decker partnered with UGU, which has its headquarters in Jeddah in June 2007 has since expanded to four offices across Saudi Arabia to enable MAMEE-Double Decker products to penetrate each of the regions.
Our main exports to Saudi Arabia are Crisps and Funkees while other products offering include Mister Potato, Express Cup, Cruncheez and soon to be MAMEE noodles. Retail outlets selling our products in Saudi range from Panda, Lulu, Othaim, Farm, Tamimi to Raya. We intend to further expand our market by providing a wider MAMEE-Double Decker product range which we hope to achieve through our partnership with UGU in setting up a factory in Saudi Arabia.
