Job Description

• Oversee and manage civil and structural engineering works for new projects, renovations, and maintenance activities within GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Develop, implement, and standardize GMP-compliant civil and structural engineering guidelines, specifications, and design standards for use across all Mamee plants.
• Prepare, review, and approve civil and structural drawings, calculations, BOQs, and technical documentation in accordance with GMP, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Ensure building designs and structural works support GMP principles, including hygiene zoning, cleanability, material durability, drainage, and prevention of contamination risks.
• Support project planning by defining scope, success criteria, technical requirements, cost estimates, and timelines for civil and structural components.
• Coordinate with QA and EHS teams to ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental requirements during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections, construction monitoring, and contractor supervision to ensure workmanship meets GMP and engineering standards.
• Manage engineering documentation, change control, and record to ensure full traceability and audit readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to operations and maintenance teams related to civil and structural issues in GMP areas.
• Support regulatory inspections, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to facility compliance and infrastructure integrity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structure Engineering.
• Candidate must possess 3 -4 years of work experience.
• Candidate with experience working within the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• A team player but also able to work independently.
• Able to travel whenever necessary.
• The candidate is comfortable with a contractual role.
