1971
ONCE UPON A TIME…
Mamee’s story began in 1971, when founder Datuk Pang Chin Hin and his partner started a small factory in Melaka that manufactures instant noodles.
1972
A LUCKY STAR IS BORN!
Production began in 1972 with the release of Mamee’s first ever product: Lucky instant noodle and vermicelli.
1974
CRUNCH, CRUNCH. MAMEE…
When Tan Sri Pang Tee Chew noticed rubber tappers eating uncooked instant noodles straight from the pack, the Pang father-son duo steered their noodle production in a new direction and launched the memorable crunchy noodle snack - Mamee.
PSST.. EVER WONDERED HOW THE NAME “MAMEE” CAME ABOUT?
It’s a derivative of the endearing term for mother - MUMMY! To represent the person with whom a child has the strongest emotional connection.1980
HERE COMES DOUBLE DECKER!
Beep, beep! Double Decker’s crackers came rolling in to deliver Malaysians yet another delectable delight.
1992
HOLA, AMIGOS IT’S MISTER POTATO!
Malaysians were introduced to its favorite muchacho in a sombrero bringing delicious potato snacks made from quality ingredients.
2012
MAMEE CHEF HITS THE SHELVES
In 2012, Mamee branches out with Mamee Chef, delivering springy noodles and delicious soup in every bowl with the help of specially formulated Mi Tarik technology and superior ingredients.

MAMEE JONKER HOUSE
After over 40 years of heritage in food and manufacturing, Mamee opens its first concept store, Mamee Jonker House, at the heart of a UNESCO heritage street.

In 2016, Biskidz came bursting into the market with thin-sliced biscuits made with nutritious wheat and packed full of DHA. No wonder every bite is packed full of godness!
