Factory Manager
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- To lead and manage the overall operations for the factory: production (processing & packaging), QA/QC, maintenance, SHE, warehousing and planning.
- To drive continuous improvement on factory productivity using OEE and other best practice measurements.
- To ensure consistently high-quality final products to meet local and overseas customers’ requirements.
- Coordinate production activities with other functional groups such as finance, sales, marketing and distribution as well as others.
- Forecast operating costs of the department and direct preparation of budget request.
- Manage approved budgets with an eye to spend below by controlling cost, wastages and other inefficiencies.
- To assure compliance on regulatory, licensing, permit, Food Safety Certification and Quality Management System.
- To develop the annual budget with manpower plan and continuously review the budget/headcount compliance with respect to daily operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Must have 8 years and above of working experience in production in a leadership position.
- Preferably Managers specialising in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- This position is based in Melaka with some travelling to Subang plant whenever needed.
- Strong analytical skill in Power BI, Microsoft excel, power point and SAP tool.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and rapid changing environment.
- Independent, self-starter and results-oriented.
